Inspect, operate, and test industrial bakery machinery such as ovens, mixers, dough dividers, sheeters, conveyors, and packaging equipment to diagnose mechanical or electrical malfunctions. Perform routine preventive maintenance including inspecting drives, motors, belts, heating elements, and electrical components; checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts. Perform maintenance on HVAC systems including inspecting air handling units, ventilation systems, ductwork, thermostats, compressors, and condensers to ensure proper temperature control and air circulation within bakery production areas. Adjust functional parts of bakery equipment, HVAC systems, and control instruments using hand tools and measuring devices to maintain proper performance and production efficiency. Repair bakery machines, equipment, HVAC units, and facility structures using tools such as drills, saws, wrenches, hoists, and electrical or electronic testing devices.
